| Although
the TAAU message
board is an excellent source for news and events, we wanted
to do more, and so in the tradition of all the big US-based
news sites out there, we have assembled a team of reporters
to constantly update this section each and every day for you.
As there are already a number of excellent international news
sites out there, we have decided to dedicate this section to
Australian-specific information only, all of which we receive
direct from our contacts at Hasbro, Madman, Atari and, of course,
the hundreds of TAAU members out there who visit the site each
and every day to report their findings, so if you want to keep
up-to-date with local news and events, this is the place to
be! |

BRIMSTONE ELUSIVE, NOT EXTINCT
The much sought-after "missing" CYB release, Brimstone, is making cameo appearances on Australian toy shelves.
Until this week, the only reported finding of the aerial beastie was Vert's success in northern NSW several months ago. Now, the winged weirdo is turning up in a few other places as part of the Giant Planet map wave of deluxe-sized figures.
Yours truly was the first to find him - at Myer in Tea Tree Plaza, SA - followed by Admiral Lilwall at Toyworld in Chermside, QLD. Fellow board member Soundwarp has also had success at Myer in Carrindale, Brisbane. All three TAAU members paid between $25 and $30 for the figure.
It seems likely, at this point, that Brimstone is short-packed given there has been only one figure at each location, so search carefully if he's missing from your collection.
