| Although
the TAAU message
board is an excellent source for news and events, we wanted
to do more, and so in the tradition of all the big US-based
news sites out there, we have assembled a team of reporters
to constantly update this section each and every day for you.
As there are already a number of excellent international news
sites out there, we have decided to dedicate this section to
Australian-specific information only, all of which we receive
direct from our contacts at Hasbro, Madman, Atari and, of course,
the hundreds of TAAU members out there who visit the site each
and every day to report their findings, so if you want to keep
up-to-date with local news and events, this is the place to
be! |

KMART EXCLUSIVE CYBERTRON PRIMUS FOUND IN TASMANIA
TAAU board member Vernotron has just reported finding eight Cybertron Primus's at his local Kmart in Burnie, Tasmania, however the figure wasn't in the store's system unfortunately, so he was unable to give us a price for him.
As previously reported, Primus will be a Kmart exclusive here in Australia, and will also come with the previously US-exclusive severed Unicron head.

VOICE ACTOR INTERVIEWS / COMMENTARIES ANNOUNCED FOR MADMAN'S BEAST WARS SEASON 3 DVD
Just when you thought Madman had finished with their amazing series of celebrity DVD interviews and commentaries, I received news that they have lined up the following Transformers legends for their Beast Wars season 3 DVD!
+ David Kaye (voice of Megatron) + Garry Chalk (voice of Optimus) + Venus Terzo (voice of Blackarachnia) + Scott McNeil (voice of Rattrap, Dinobot, Waspinator and Silverbolt) + Alec Willows (voice of Tarantulas)
All these guys will be interviewed and will be fielding questions directly from you, and David, Garry, Scott - and possibly Alec - will be providing the commentaries!
And if that wasn't enough, Madman are also hoping to talk to some animators and directors as well, so in addition to your questions for the voice actors, you might want to have a think about questions you could put to Mainframe, too ;-)
Lastly, Madman would also like you to suggest an episode you'd like to hear a commentary on, considering the characters involved from the list above...
Deadline for this will be Monday, June 26th, so don't delay: post your questions from home, from work, from the toilet using your laptop or Blackberry! We don't care where you do it from, just as long as you do it, so it's over to you now guys; post everything in this thread here, or email them through to me at enquiries@theyareamongus.com, and don't waste this great opportunity guys, as they don't come round very often!

SIMON FURMAN INTERVIEW AND COMMENTARY FOR MADMAN'S BEAST WARS SEASON 3 DVD
Madman Entertainment officially announced today that they will be interviewing Simon Furman for their Beast Wars Season 3 DVD, and will also be recording a commentary by him for the series' finale episode, "Nemesis part 2", which he wrote.
Not only that, but Madman have also asked for our help in interviewing him, and are inviting TAAU members to submit questions for Simon about Beast Wars, his participation in the show, the comic, and any particular questions about "Nemesis part 2" for the commentary!
Transformers G1/Comic/IDW questions are also welcome for inclusion on a future Transformers G1 release, but the focus here will be Beast Wars and Nemesis.
All questions should be emailed to me at enquiries@theyareamongus.com or posted in this thread here by Wednesday 14th June, so get your thinking caps on and get posting guys, as time flys when you're having fun ;)
