to do more, and so in the tradition of all the big US-based
news sites out there, we have assembled a team of reporters
to constantly update this section each and every day for you.
As there are already a number of excellent international news
sites out there, we have decided to dedicate this section to
Australian-specific information only, all of which we receive
direct from our contacts at Hasbro, Madman, Atari and, of course,
the hundreds of TAAU members out there who visit the site each
and every day to report their findings, so if you want to keep
up-to-date with local news and events, this is the place to

NEW CYBERTRON SCOUTS REACH AUSTRALIAN STORES
Long-time TAAU member Vert is the first to spot the latest wave of Cybertron scout-class figures in Australia. He found Wreckloose, Brushguard, Backstop and Swindle at a New South Wales Target store for $15.99 each.
These are the first new Transformers for 2006 so keep your eyes peeled - if the past is any indication, they're likely to spread across the country over the next fortnight.

Thanks to TAAU member Burn for pointing out the first news morsel for 2006 - the announcement of a release date for the upcoming Beast Wars Season One DVD boxed set!
