Although the TAAU message board is an excellent source for news and events, we wanted to do more, and so in the tradition of all the big US-based news sites out there, we have assembled a team of reporters to constantly update this section each and every day for you. As there are already a number of excellent international news sites out there, we have decided to dedicate this section to Australian-specific information only, all of which we receive direct from our contacts at Hasbro, Madman, Atari and, of course, the hundreds of TAAU members out there who visit the site each and every day to report their findings, so if you want to keep up-to-date with local news and events, this is the place to be!

Still haven't finished off your Cybertron collection? Start groaning... or perhaps celebrating... then, because there are brand new Transformers Classics hitting our shelves!

Long-time TAAU member Vert today found Classics Optimus Prime and Megatron at David Jones in Tuggerah, NSW, for $46.95 each. A few hours later, fellow member Sharkysparky located the deluxe-sized figures- Starscream, Hot Rod, Bumblebee and Astrotrain - at David Jones in Campbelltown, NSW, for $24.95 each.

Concluding the day for big finds, yours truly located Galaxy Force Vector Prime - the gold and black repaint of Primus' avatar - at Toyworld, Rundle Mall, Adelaide for $46.95. According to staff, Galaxy Force Optimus Prime - the red and black repaint of the Autobot leader - was in the same shipment but sold out earlier in the week, even with a $109 price tag.
