| Although
the TAAU message
board is an excellent source for news and events, we wanted
to do more, and so in the tradition of all the big US-based
news sites out there, we have assembled a team of reporters
to constantly update this section each and every day for you.
As there are already a number of excellent international news
sites out there, we have decided to dedicate this section to
Australian-specific information only, all of which we receive
direct from our contacts at Hasbro, Madman, Atari and, of course,
the hundreds of TAAU members out there who visit the site each
and every day to report their findings, so if you want to keep
up-to-date with local news and events, this is the place to
be! |

THE BEST DEFENCE IS A GOOD RED ALERT
As the Wave 3.5 Deluxes reach more stores - specifically, David Jones outlets - the latest offering from the Cybertron line has reached Australian stores in the form of Cybertron Defence Red Alert!
TAAU member Soundwarp was the first to find the reformatted, heavily-armoured medic at Target in Chermside, Queensland. Vert was next, locating him at his local Target, followed by Super Happy Mega Fun Convoy at Target Paramatta and, finally, yours truly at Toyworld, Rundle Mall, Adelaide.
The big guy will set you back $49.99, although Target is selling him at 20 per cent off this week only.

THE BEAST WARS INVADE THE INTERNET
Thanks to TAAU member Quickstrike for pointing out the newest Transformers website, created by the fine folks at Madman to promote the 2006 DVD release of the classic Beast Wars television series!
The site - which at the moment features a placeholder graphic and a press release - can be found right here.
