to do more, and so in the tradition of all the big US-based
news sites out there, we have assembled a team of reporters
to constantly update this section each and every day for you.
As there are already a number of excellent international news
sites out there, we have decided to dedicate this section to
Australian-specific information only, all of which we receive
direct from our contacts at Hasbro, Madman, Atari and, of course,
the hundreds of TAAU members out there who visit the site each
and every day to report their findings, so if you want to keep
up-to-date with local news and events, this is the place to

TRANSFORMERS ARMADA MAGAZINE
Thanks to reillyd of the TAAU boards for informing us that the UK Exclusive Transformers Armada comic has been republished locally and is now available at your local newsagent. More than just a comic, this is the Transformers Armada Magazine, containing reprints of two UK Armada comics, character bios, colour in sections, games & puzzles and a pull-out poster.
Priced at $5.95, the magazine is in an A6 format and published by Otter Press Magazines who last year republished the first Dreamwave G1 miniseries here in Australia. Whether this turns out to be a monthly or bi-monthly magazine we'll have to wait and see, but this is the perfect opportunity to pick of the UK Armada comics locally. Go grab your copy today!

Just a reminder for those of you who don't know/have forgotten: the Transformers Energon cartoon series is currently airing at 6:00 AM on Channel Ten every Saturday morning, so set your alarm clocks or your video recorders, depending how dedicated you are ;)

UNIVERSE NEMESIS PRIME TO BE RELEASED MID-SEPTEMBER AS DAVID JONES EXCLUSIVE
In a rare but welcome post from Hasbro insider and retired TAAU board member, Laserbeak, he has informed us in this thread here that the up-coming Universe Nemesis Prime figure (Big Convoy redeco which comes with a 'dead' Matrix) will a David Jones exclusive and is due to hit our shelves around mid-September.

SUPERLINK AND ROBOT MASTERS FOUND IN WA STORE
Good news for all transfans in WA: newest board member, Goblez, has kindly let us know that Empire Toys in Perth (856 Hay Street, located above Tandy and next door to Retravision) now have Superlink and Robot Masters toys in stock. They currently have Overdrive (Cliffjumper) and Wheeljack (Downshift) from the Superlink line, as well as all of the current Robot Masters figures for roughly AU$19 each, so if you're in the area, check 'em out!
