Hi TF Fans,
I wish to say hi and thanks to those who are reading this now.
My name is Lam Tran, I'm 19, from Sydney and I have been collecting
TF since I was 7.
My collection would've been large expect for one tragic moment
in October, 1997.
It was around 2 - 3am, a time of peace and harmony, a time where
Autobots and Decepticons lie in a LARGE box in my room.
Unfortunately that was also the time when disaster struck, as
to my surprise I awoke to find that my entire room was covered
in smoke!
My family and I only had minutes to evacuate the house.
Seconds after that, my room was in flames!
When the Fire Brigade arrived and stopped the fire, I tried
my best to recover the 'survivors' from the wreck, only to find
out that there was only one that I was able to recover.
In terrible condition, I picked it up and raised the singed
body of the Transformer.
Carefully brushing off the ashes on its body with my bare fingers,
I gently moved it over towards the scorched window sill, revealing
it to the glittery sunlight and to my surprise I saw that it
was the Throttlebot, GoldBug.
It was the very first Transformer that I had, but now it was
my very last.
I was saddened by the toy and decide to stop collecting TFs
from that point on.
A few years later, my little brother spotted and bought some
transforming toys, a small transforming bat named Optimus and
a crocodile called Megatron. With knowledge from the past, I
knew that they were a new breed of Transformers, from the Beast
Wars line.
I've been collecting them ever since! |

GENE'S STORY (submitted

My name is Gene
Waltham, I am 16 years old and have been collecting Transformers
for as long as I can remember.
When I was about 11 or 12, and did not really know the future
value of my Transformers toys, my brother, my Mum's boyfriend's
kid, Aaron, and myself, were playing with our Transformers in
the back yard. When we finished, we packed them all away and
Aaron said that he would bring the box inside.
Unfortunately however, he never did, and of course it rained
that night!
I woke up the next morning
and looked for the box, and to my horror I discovered that it
has been left outside all night and was drenched.
All of the Transformers were ruined but I wanted to hang on
to them anyway, however my mum made me throw the whole box away,
and as a result this unfortunate experience cut mine and my
brother's collection in half :(
Strangely, like the Beastii's story, Goldbug was also my first
Transformer but he also he did not survive the battle with the
elements.
Thank you for reading my story.
