"UNICRON'S
ATTACK," by Raptor_7_7_7
It was most positively one of the
most glorious systems that could ever have existed. Within
the centre of the solar system, a beautiful display of two
suns, that were dark blue and a light, pinkish red lay together
in glorious format. The binary suns shot off licks of fire
of various shades of light that could be seen throughout the
cosmos in this area. A few exploded, while others continued
upon their great path.
However, all was not peaceful, nor
natural within this part of the universe. A monstrous, spherical
shaped, metallic object flew past. It seemed to possess quite
a menacing look, one that would fill one in dread just to
notice the metallic planet. A long yellow-orange ring, connected
to it via four long shafts at the quarter parts of the planet
encircled it around its left and right sides, across the top
and bottom. The outer shell of the planet was primarily a
grey-blue, with a few shades of white in different places.
At the front of the planet was a large, orange orifice, which
opened up to an abyss of twisted, evil mechanics and workings.
A ring of jagged spikes encircled it, like a round set of
teeth, while two long, orange, demonic-looking pincers gave
the metallic planet an even more menacing, evil, dreading
look.
However, despite all of these components
and shapes, the most horrifying thing about the monster was
the size. It was by far too gigantesque to be classed as a
normal planet – even a gas giant was quite minuscule
when compared to its size. Perhaps the easiest way to describe
the sheer size of the yellow-orange metal planet would be
to make a comparison with a star. Perhaps, out of all the
stars that exist within the great universe, this great planet
could be leisurely compared to that of a white dwarf. Yet,
even that type of star was by far, quite large compared with
the planet. It would seem that the only scale that would exist
for this demonic-looking metal planet was between that of
a large gas giant and a small white dwarf star.
The planet continued its flight
through space, until within its view, it saw a small planet,
that had its own metallic crust, yet much more rocky than
that of the behemoth that came towards it. It would seem like
the smaller planet was made of raw metal, still embodied within
its ore elements. The cities that were built upon this planet
were quite large – though to a human eye, it would be
hard to distinguish a city from the natural metallic surface.
It was also clear that the natives
of this planet were not at all primitive. Ships for different
purposes flew past different sections of the planet, each
on their own different tasks. However, what was strange about
this planet, was the inhabitants were not of organic life
– yet this factor did indeed seem to fit in perfectly
with the type of planet. They were robots.
Different shapes and sizes they
were in. Most of them commonly had triangular shaped heads,
and dull, dark-coloured bodies. The very population seemed
to be made up of scientists, doctors and others that had occupations
that were similar to such things. Two of the robotic beings
walked through a large corridor, both heading in the same
direction, and both carrying different things, such as devices,
chemicals and containers.
They eventually found their way
to a science lab, and one member of the duo gave to another
robot with a similar type body a tray with two tall handles
at the side and three containers with blue-coloured pink-coloured
chemicals in them. Suddenly, the entire room began to shake
intensively. The clear containers clashed against each other
and then gave way and fell on the ground, shattering and spilling
the contents all over the ground. One of the robots rushed
over to a monitor and large keypad.
‘Arblus! Look!’ called
out the robot – whose face had changed to one of horror
– who was at the monitor. The other one walked over,
and his face too changed to horror.
‘This can’t be, Kranix!’
Arblus cried.
‘Its...’ Kranix stuttered.
‘Its Unicron!’ he finished off, pointing at the
horned, monster planet.
‘We have to get out of here!
Fast!’
And so the duo ran far from the
science station. The entire city, the entire planet, was in
chaos. Everyone was running around, trying to escape from
the Chaos Bringer. Some were attempting to reach ships, but
it was all in a vain effort, for the monster planet’s
gravitational pull had already started to bring in parts of
the city, even the natural terrain of the planet, towards
it.
The monster planet dauntingly overhung
the planet like a spider about to devour its captured prey.
The metallic monster enabled some form of white tractor beam
at the planet, literally pulling the planet out of orbit.
Unicron, who was clearly the monster planet, then dug its
pincer-like horns into the edges of the planet, pulling it
towards his mouth, which had been opened even more, by the
teeth ring being opened. The planet started to be pulled even
further into the mouth of Unicron, and was soon two-thirds
in his mouth.
‘We have to get to the ships!
The ships! Its our only chance!’ cried out Arblus to
Kranix.
The two found their way to a landing
platform that had three ships landed, ready to launch. The
ships were a dark grey, with three engines on the rear and
were tubular in shape. There was a ring around the centre
of them, and leading off the ring was three thin wings. Arblus
and Kranix both boarded separate ships so there was a chance
that at least one of them would survive the destruction of
their home world of Lithone...
The onslaught of Unicron continued.
The landing platform began to be pulled up swiftly by both
the tractor beam and the gravity emitted by Unicron. Kranix
and Arblus both lifted off the surface of their soon-to-be-murdered
world, and rocketed away from the destruction of the planet.
However, a call crackled over the
radio from Arblus’s ship to Kranix’s: ‘Kranix!
He’s got me! Kranix!’
Kranix looked behind him, a look
of horror and fear haunting his face, as he saw his dear friend
being pulled away by that, that, monster... Kranix straightened
and hardened his face, then looked straight ahead. Perhaps
there was a chance that he would survive the wrath of Unicron?
Not seeming to notice Kranix’s
escape, Unicron continued to devour the planet. The planet
was almost finished being devoured by him. The raw materials
of the planet flowed through the inner-structure of Unicron’s
body, as it was crushed, liquefied and put into the energy
cells of his body. Among the wreckage within Unicron was a
ship... A tubular ship, whose pilot was crying out in pain,
as the searing heat of the energies within Unicron melted
the ship into energy.
Unicron eventually devoured
the last remains of the planet, and a green flow of energy
could be seen going through the ring around his main body.
There were no visible signs of the murdered planet ever existing.
There were no asteroids, no small rocks, no bodies, no machinery
or anything – just the empty, black abysses of space.
