Although not a member of the TAAU
message board (yet!), Damian is an Aussie transfan with a
lot of talent. He produced the submissions you see below about
eight years ago now - at the tender age of 17 - with no help
or formal training whatsoever; just tips and techniques he
picked up along the way from his primary / high school teachers
and comic book artists, which he claims are his main influence.
Now, at 25, he still draws occasionally as a labour of love:
"I'll try something challenging every now and then to
improve my skills and try to learn something new, and on rare
occasions I'll draw something for someone I like as a birthday
gift or something like that."
In addition to illustrating, he's also developing a treatment
for a screenplay with a friend for an independent producer
in the US. "No money down yet, but persevering!"
