Admiral
Lilwall has been drawing Transformers™ since
their first release in 1984, and produces both hand drawn
and computer assisted art works. He says that using visual
references when illustrating is very helpful, "They're
pretty much a saviour really as I find the 3D elements of
objects to be quite hard, so some visual references for poses,
angles and hands are always useful."
