When
you hear of someone owning 300 - 350 Transformers these days,
especially amongst some of us hardcore collectors, then few
of us really take much notice anymore, however it's easy to
get complacent until you actually see
them laid out in all their glory, as Turbonegro has done here.
It then becomes very apparent that you're looking at a serious
amount of toys!
"I collected bots as a child and never got rid
of them, thank God!" exclaims Turbo. "One day while
at an Op Shop, about 4 years ago, I found a bunch of Mini
Spies and Prime's cab, and got jazzed on them all again, so
I dug my collection out of my Mum's house and put them on
display."
Turbo has virtually all of the first year G1 decepticons,
some G1 Autobot cars, a fairly good mix of G2, Beast Wars
and many of the Australian release RID toys as well a couple
of Japanese reissues.
"My pride and joy would be have to be my Omega Supreme,"
he says proudly. "He is complete and I've owned him since
I was a kid. That and the boxed Train Set I got at a local
op shop for $30 that is!"
No
matter what the size of your Transformers collection - big
or small - if you've got some decent pictures of your bots
and would like to show them off to your friends, family or
even your arch enemy, then send them in to us and we'll upload
them on to the site for the whole world to see!
