"It has been 10 years since the events of Transformers:
Armada and a new battle in the universe is beginning. In the
final battle in Transformers: Armada, Unicron is critically
damaged and needs Energon to re-enervate himself. Earth is
rich in Energon and Unicron immediately strikes a bargain
with the Decepticons, led by Scorponok. In return for increased
power, in the shape of new Hyper-modes, Scorponok agrees to
travel to Earth and strip it of its Energon reserves. And
so, a new battle on Earth begins, new modes and powers for
both Autobots and Decepticons, and the looming threat of a
re-energized Unicron. Only an elite team of Autobots, empowered
with the Spark of Combination, can save the planet from total
destruction. Returning characters include Optimus Prime, Megatron,
