Okay people, it's that time of the
month again: time for you to get your creative juices flowing
and take part in TAAU's February competition! Woo hoo!
Now, to make it as easy and as accessible
as possible for everyone, this month's competition will not
require any research to be done, special equipment to be bought,
artistic skills to used, specific software to be learnt, inside
knowledge to be gained or anything else that could be used
as an excuse for not taking part
All you simply have to do this month
is come up with a Transformers joke of some kind!
Now, when we say 'joke', we mean
the "There was a Autobot, a Decepticon and a Fleshling
in a hot air balloon" kind of joke; namely, only the
written or verbal kind, we don't want any jokes that need
any kind of visual aids, such as picture captions, etc.
SUBMISSION
GUIDELINES:
Your Transformers joke can be of any kind and of any length,
so you can write a one-liner or come up with a longer 'story'
styled joke, it's completely up to you.
There are no limits to the number of jokes you can submit,
but the joke/s entered must be your own, original compositions,
and not taken from another person/source.
Once you've completed your masterpiece, email it to us at:
competition@theyareamongus.com
THE
PRIZE:
Now, even though you shouldn't need any encouragement to take
part - as the sheer fun of it, coupled with the chance to
possibly walk away with the award for the best joke on the
board should be enough - we're also offering you the chance
to win a very cool and very cute Transformer which we think
is very under-valued and under-rated:
Now, we know you may not necessarily buy one these for yourselves,
so we thought we'd offer one as a prize instead, as they're
really very cool: they transform and come with seven different
spoken phrases! What more could you want in a toy!
DEADLINE:
All entries must be received on or before 28/02/03
RULES:
You understand and agree to let Theyareamongus.com ('TAAU'
) use all submitted entries, and without limitation. TAAU
also reserves the right to refuse any joke, and thus entry,
on grounds of; 'bad taste', poor quality or for any other
undisclosed and unlisted reason. Participants may enter as
many times as they wish, but must submit them on or before
28/02/03. Competition is open to Australian and New Zealand
residents only. |
