CHAT RULES AND GUIDELINES ]
It has been decided that, in the interests of protecting our
members from possible abuse, and also TAAU from any possible
misrepresentation, all public chats in all rooms will be logged.
This is done for two reasons: 1) So that TAAU staff may properly
adjudicate any reported cases of abuse or complaints originating
from Chat Room conversations, and 2) So that TAAU may retain
proof of any breaches in Chat Room rules and guidelines, as
detailed below:
TAAU MEMBERS ONLY >>
Due to the large bandwidth considerations involved in hosting
real-time voice chat software, we regret to announce that
access to these Chat Rooms will be limited to TAAU members
only. Non TAAU members and/or visitors from countries outside
of Australia will not be granted access at this time, and
those attempting to register and use this service will have
their accounts removed until we are able to upgrade our web
hosting package to accommodate for a larger number of users.
Please note: You must use your existing Message Board username
when registering for Chat.
SINGLE ACCOUNTS ONLY

To prevent possible abuse in our chat rooms, we only allow
members to register one account, so please do not try to sign
up multiple user names as these will be detected by our staff
and will be deleted as a result.
ADVERTISING / SELLING
GUIDELINES >>
As TAAU is a community site set up for fans and collectors
only, we do not allow toy store owners or retailers to advertise
their products on the Message Board or in the Chat Rooms.
This is nothing personal as this applies to all dealers and
business owners in Australasia, but as we have spent the last
few years pouring countless dollars, hours, blood, sweat and
tears into TAAU, we do not thus appreciate sellers coming
along and signing up just so they can use the site for free
advertising or to build up their customer base. If you are
a business owner or retailer and are interested in advertising
on TAAU, please email us at advertising@theyareamongus.com
to discuss your requirements in more detail.
TAAU members who only sell on a casual basis are more than
welcome to advertise their own items for sale however, but
we would just ask that you do not 'spam' the Chat Room/s continually
with advertisements; this rude behavior will not be tolerated
and will only serve to annoy those currently in the room.
Persistent offenders will be kicked and possibly even banned.
POSTING QUESTIONS / MAKING
COMMENTS ABOUT TAAU >>
We would ask that if you have any questions, queries or general
comments for TAAU Staff, that you do not post them either
in any of our chat rooms, or on the message board, but instead
continue to send them in to our enquiries@theyareamongus.com
address so we can reply to you directly through email.

AND CONDITIONS ]
By registering, logging in, reading and/or posting messages
on the Theyareamongus.com ('TAAU') Chat Room/s, you thereby
signify an understanding of, and agreement to, the following
terms and conditions:
"Regarding the Information I am posting to the TAAU Chat
Room/s, its publication on the World Wide Web (WWW), and TAAU
(including all TAAU members, staff, volunteers, officers,
sponsors, agents, and the Web site host), I have read, understand
and agree that: I am the person named in the Information;
I have carefully reviewed all the information I am posting
as well as Disclaimer information; None of the Information
is proprietary, confidential, secret or in any other way unsuitable
for general world-wide publication; I have full unrestricted
disclosure rights to all of the Information; With full legal
authority, I am distributing the Information to TAAU and grant
unrestricted rights to TAAU to publish the Information on
the WWW; I understand that the Information can be accessed
without restriction by anyone using the WWW; I take full legal,
moral, and financial responsibility for any disputes, disagreements,
or litigation resulting from the publication of the Information;
I agree to hold harmless and indemnify TAAU against any claims,
costs, or damages resulting from publishing the Information;
I agree to release TAAU from all liability for claims, costs,
