Hey guys, some exciting news!

Madman officially announced today that they will be interviewing Simon Furman for their Beast Wars Season 3 DVD, and will also be recording a commentary by him for the series' finale episode, “Nemesis part 2”, which he wrote.

Not only that, but Madman have also asked for our help in interviewing him, and are inviting TAAU members to submit questions for Simon about Beast Wars, his participation in the show, the comic, and any particular questions about “Nemesis part 2” for the commentary!

Transformers G1/Comic/IDW questions are also welcome for inclusion on a future Transformers G1 release, but the focus here will be Beast Wars and Nemesis.

All questions should be emailed to me at enquiries@theyareamongus.com or posted in this thread by Wednesday 14th June, so get your thinking caps on and get posting guys, as time flys when you're having fun ;)

You have big sheds with 20 foot high chickens, and these chickens are scared because they don't know why they're so big, and they're going 'Oh, why am I so massive?' and they're looking down at the little chickens and they think they're in an aeroplane because all the other chickens are so small!

Some questions RE: Nemesis part 2:

Where there any specific deaths / plot points that hasbro/mainframe told you to work in?

I remember hearing that initially there were plans to revive a Decepticon (I think it was Ramjet...) for the episode...care to elaborate? :)

Didn't we do this for a Frank Wellker interview which was supposed to be in the G1 Season 4 box set?

Now I may be wrong, however I could never find that interview?

And why are we interviewing Simon, he only wrote one Ep didn't he?

Anyway, time to go think up some questions :p

Hey guys,

Just a reminder that all questions for Simon must be in by end-of-play tomorrow (Wednesday), and yes, Simon has definitely been booked for this, so it will be going ahead!

Come on, how many times in your life are you going to be able to ask the legendary Simon Furman a question, and possibly see it being put to him on a DVD?

Oh you know you want to! :D

My question would be regarding Rhinox's role in saving the day in Nemesis pt.2. Was this Simon's idea to use him, and why? Also, any info on the sequel to the BW comic would be great :)

Regards,
Red

After scratching my head trying to think of a question I realised I haven't seen any of the episodes he had a part in.

Am I able to ask questions regarding the BW comic?

As an episode writer, does he consider The Japanese BW series (II, Neo) to be the same continuity as the Canadian BW cartoon series?
