Classics
The word 'homage' is thrown around a lot in the Transformers community, however if one line truly deserved that title it would be the new Classics range, which does its best to reference some of the best toys of yesteryear, starting with our beloved G1.

Designed by Hasbro and TakaraTomy - with collaboration from the Cartoon Network to ensure the toys reflect the series' characters - the upcoming Transformers: Animated figures have thankfully moved away from gimmicks to instead focus on making each figure more stylised and unique, and from what we've seen so far, we love 'em!

Cybertron / Galaxy Force
It has been announced that production company GDH/GONZO (the people behind Blue Submarine No. 6, Yukikaze, Gantz and Samurai 7) will be creating the new Cybertron/Galaxy Force cartoon, which is due to air in Japan at the beginning of 2005, and if it's anything like the toy pictures which have surfaced recently, this is going to be one very sexy anime series!
